What: The Absolute Beginners Course has been designed with the Absolute Beginner to Mixed Martial Arts in mind. In this 4 week course you will be training Mondays and Wednesdays the Course sessions start at 7pm. The course will cover all of the basic drills and movements required to get a fundemental understanding of MMA. You will learn the basics of the 3 ranges used in MMA:
- Stand Up ( Boxing and Kickboxing Skills)
- Clinch (Dirty Boxing and Takedowns)
- Ground (How to Dominate on the ground)
Using our 5 step Coaching Method to quickly learn these movements and drills, if you succesfully complete the course you will be awarded a certificate of completion and be invited to join the Outlaw MMA Family.

#BJJCourse – Women’s Martial Arts Course
Hosted by Alexandra Park BJJ
What: Alexandra Park BJJ will be running a 4-week introductory martial arts course for women in January 2018. It will cover all the basic skills and movements of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. This course is open to women and girls over the age of 14. The course will have female instructors including current World Champion Joanna Ziobronowicz and European Champion Sarah Merriner
The BJJ course enables you to develop your fitness levels, balance, coordination and flexibility develop in a no-pressure environment and provides the opportunity to start a new sport at a reasonable price with like-minded beginners. Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) is a full contact martial art, combat sport, and a self-defence system that focuses on grappling and especially ground fighting. Alexandra Park BJJ offers Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu classes for all levels. Alexandra Park BJJ is an affiliate of the world famous Nova Geracao BJJ team.
The course will run on Thursdays 7.30pm-9.00pm at Alexandra Park School, Rhodes Avenue, London, N22 7UT. For the duration of the course, attendees will be able to attend Monday and Saturday sessions at no extra charge. All Participants at Alexandra Park BJJ are expected to sign up to our code of conduct and an insurance waiver.
