Kicking into shapeIf you like me have eaten and drunk too much over the festive season then your probably feeling a little sluggish and may look a little bit like a barrel.
My aim for 2016 is to get beach body ready for my holiday in August by eating healthy and doing more exercise.

Healthy eating will consist of following a weight watchers type approach, which encourages you to eat the right foods and not starve yourself like other diet programs. Fortunately I’m not a regular drinker of alcohol so that part will be easy.

Exercise will play a vital role in transforming my physique, as that is where I have noticed the biggest difference in my body shape previously.

To maintain a good level of exercise I think it’s important to follow a routine training schedule, so I have devised a weekly planner.

Mondays:
20 minutes of Insanity (High Impact) exercises in the morning.
15 – 30 minutes of exercise during teaching my martial arts lesson in the evening.
Wednesdays:
15 – 30 minutes of exercise during teaching my martial arts lesson in the evening.
Thursdays:
20 minutes of Insanity (High Impact) exercises in the morning.
15 – 30 minutes of exercise during teaching my martial arts lesson in the evening.
Sundays:
15 – 30 minutes of exercise during teaching my martial arts lesson in the evening.
In addition to this will be taking the dogs out for walks/runs and once a month 90 minutes of martial arts training.
